Maribel Martinez, Regional Director
Maribel Martinez serves at EveryoneOn’s Regional Director, Southeast & Puerto Rico. Maribel began her career as an educator in South Florida and has since served as a literacy coach, college professor, program implementation manager and education consultant in New York, and most recently, as Director of Education at a nonprofit management support organization in Palm Beach County, Florida. Maribel joined EveryoneOn in 2015 as the Regional Manager for Florida based in Miami and as of 2017, became EveryoneOn's Regional Director for the Southeast and Puerto Rico, managing relationships in FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, AR, and Puerto Rico. A bilingual Florida native, she brings a unique perspective to the role and professional strengths in the areas of education, technology, management, training, coaching, and leadership.
Maribel is a graduate of Florida International University, Miami, where she earned a B.S. in Special Education and an M.S. in Reading Education. After being awarded National Board Certification, Maribel began her Doctor of Education and earned an Ed.S. in Education Leadership from the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership at Walden University. Her research areas included second-career teacher induction practices and teacher preparation reform.

ConnectFamilias is a great example of a small but mighty community organization based in Little Havana serving some of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County, Florida, with a focus on ensuring children have access to opportunity. Realizing that many of their families complained about not being able to afford internet for their children’s homework, ConnectFamilias reached out to EveryoneOn to learn more about how we provide access to low-cost home internet and affordable computers to low-to-moderate income families. The result was a unique partnership in which ConnectFamilias pledged to incorporate the internet question into their client intake process and work with EveryoneOn to cross-promote their programs and services through their social media channels.
