Connectivity Solutions for Your Students and Families

PUSD.jpg

More and more educational institutions, nonprofits and other organizations play a critical role in facilitating access to essential digital learning tools–internet service and computers. Through strategic financial investments, schools and organizations can overcome one of the largest barriers to broadband and computer adoption: cost. Leveraging its partnerships with Internet Service Providers, computer refurbishers and experience supporting device (modems, hotspots) planning and deployment efforts, EveryoneOn can help facilitate the purchase of internet service and devices for students and families. EveryoneOn is proud to promote the following internet service solutions. We invite you to contact us to learn more and explore connectivity solutions for your students and families. Email us at support@everyoneon.org.

Requirements

Program

While Sprint has met their commitment of 50,000 lines to students, it may consider applications on a case-by-case basis. K-12 schools and school districts must meet the following requirements:

  • Complete the grant application;
  • Identify and support a minimum of 500 students who do not have Internet service at home;
  • Funding in place to purchase the connectivity devices; and
  • Timeline identified to place device orders.

As part of the President’s and the U.S. Department of Education’s ConnectED Initiative, Sprint launched ConnectED by Sprint to connect 50,000 K-12 students across the nation with free Internet service on the 4G LTE network.

  • 4-years of free Internet service;
  • Districts/schools must purchase devices for students to access the service;
  • 3GB/mo at 4G LTE speeds; if students exceed the 3GB, service throttled to 3G; 3GB reset next month; and
  • Content filtering options available.

School districts and public housing authorities with students without Internet access at home must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Title 1 school (not applicable to public housing authorities)
  • Committ to maintaining devices active for two years;
  • Submit W-9;
  • Submit Tax exempt certificate; and
  • Select devices: Tablet , Hotspots, Chromebooks or combination

The T-Mobile ConnectHome Plan is donating devices (tablets and hotspots), while supplies last, to public housing authorities, schools, libraries, and nonprofits to      help bridge the digital gap for K-12 students. Participating  organizations must purchase Internet plans.

  • Two year program. Plans must remain active for two years;
  • Plans starting at just $10.00 for 2GB of high speed data on 4GLTE network;
  • No cost filtering solution with four access levels to protect your students;
  • No overage fees;
  • On-site and no cost implementation services from experienced wireless professionals;
  • On-site and no cost sales engineering support; and
  • No cost LTE signal boosters if needed within the home for government liable users.

There are no minimum student or district requirements to qualify for the Kajeet off-campus connectivity program. Kajeet provides a quote upon request.

Kajeet, a national organization, is dedicated to supporting educational growth of K-12 students by providing reliable Internet service. Kajeet works with school districts to identity and deploy Internet service solutions for students.
