Ruth Abigail Madrigal, Digital Skills Instructor
Ruth Abigail Madrigal or “Ruthy” has been involved within the California Central Valley school system for 7 years primarily working in title 1 schools. She has worked in Special Education classrooms within Fresno- and has conducted research at California State University Fresno for the importance of digital communications within mild/moderate/severe classroom settings.
Growing up in a Spanish speaking household, she has experienced first hand the complications of assimilating into an English school system; and greatly believes in the power of inclusion through digital applications.
Due to COVID-19, the majority of Ruthy's college education was online. She's thankful for this experience as it has opened up new modes of communications, interactions and experiences through the web. She is the first female in her family to obtain a college degree, and hopes to use her knowledge within the classroom and technology to better serve her community.
Ruthy is an advocate for growth mindset and the power of yet. She believes learning and curiosity are some of the best parts of life. When not working, she enjoys exploring nature, cooking, exploring Adobe Programs and learning about web development.
